This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Development and support of Retool applications.
• Design, create, and sustain internal Retool applications to enhance business workflows and operations.
• Identify and resolve issues with current Retool applications, ensuring optimal availability and performance.
• Work alongside stakeholders to collect requirements and convert them into functional application features.
• Create and support additional automations and integrations that enhance the Retool ecosystem.
• Requirements gathering, testing, and documentation.
• Lead sessions to gather requirements with business stakeholders to establish scope, objectives, and acceptance criteria.
• Conduct SOX-compliant testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new and updated systems.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical and user-facing documentation, including process flows, specifications, and test plans.
• Ensure adherence to change management procedures and proper maintenance of audit trails.
• Support data engineering functions within Microsoft Fabric, including pipeline development, monitoring, and optimization.
• Assist with data integrations linking Fabric to internal and external systems.
• Aid in building and maintaining analytics solutions, dashboards, and reporting workflows.
• Collaborate with data and business teams to guarantee data quality, governance, and accessibility.
• Utilize AI tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to expedite development, automate tasks, and enhance workflows.
• Provide daily support to the Manager of DevOps concerning infrastructure, tools, and project delivery.
• Engage in sprint planning, stand-ups, and cross-functional project teams as necessary.
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in an IT developer, analyst, or a similar technical role.
• Proven experience in web or application development; experience with Retool is highly preferred.
• Experience in conducting UAT or other testing; familiarity with SOX compliance is strongly preferred.
• Background in requirements gathering and creating technical documentation.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or a comparable programming language.
• Moderate to advanced experience with SQL.
• Experience in a source-controlled environment; familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD is strongly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric, including Lakehouses, pipelines, and notebooks.
• Relevant experience in CPG, Retail, or Manufacturing industries.
• Knowledge of AI tools such as Claude (Anthropic) and ChatGPT, with practical experience integrating them into workflows.
• Experience with REST APIs and building or utilizing third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with Power Automate or other RPA tools.
• Background in a DevOps or IT support role.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%: Although this position is remote, occasional company and departmental meetings may require travel a few times each quarter.
