IT Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Evaluate IT environments to pinpoint opportunities for enhancement and optimization, including recognizing and resolving specific challenges.

• Formulate and/or execute technology strategies that align with business goals.

• Provide guidance on software, hardware, and network solutions to boost operational efficiency.

• Assist in the integration, configuration, and deployment of IT systems and applications.

• Ensure system security, data integrity, and adherence to industry standards.

• Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams to establish project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies and suggest innovations as appropriate.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Handle, safeguard, and disclose patients’ protected health information (PHI) in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Adhere to Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures.

• Limit access to PHI to the minimum necessary for fulfilling assigned responsibilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience in IT consulting, systems administration, or a comparable technical position.

• Strong comprehension of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, networking, and cybersecurity.

• Capability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with diverse teams.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking, with sound judgment and decision-making informed by accurate and timely analyses.

• High degree of integrity and reliability, with a strong sense of urgency and results-driven orientation.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications for multifactor authentication and security purposes.

• Ability to meet the specified physical and mental demands and work in a minimally noisy environment.
