IT Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malaysia.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with global Process Owners, Finance Shared Services, and local Finance teams to analyze requirements and design targeted finance processes.

• Facilitate Fit‑to‑Standard / Fit‑Gap workshops to identify automation opportunities within core end‑to‑end finance and controlling processes.

• Take ownership of the design and configuration of SAP Finance (FI) & Controlling (CO) solutions.

• Spearhead automation and digital finance initiatives.

• Oversee projects and workstreams from start to finish, coordinating with IT teams, external partners, and system integrators.

• Ensure excellence in testing and readiness for deployment by leading SIT/UAT, cutover, go‑live, and hypercare phases.

• Provide continuous support and improvement, mentoring team members while contributing to global templates.

⛳️ Requirements

• A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related area.

• SAP certifications and project management credentials are beneficial.

• 10–15 years of professional experience in SAP Finance & Controlling, encompassing multiple end‑to‑end project lifecycles, preferably including S/4HANA transformations.

• Proven experience in leading initiatives for finance automation and digitalization.

• Knowledge of AI and ML-driven finance use cases, such as predictive accounting, anomaly detection, intelligent matching, forecasting, and exception handling.

• Strong understanding of finance and controlling processes, coupled with a robust mindset for internal controls and compliance.

• Exceptional stakeholder management and consulting-level communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior business and IT leaders.

• Proficient in English; Italian is highly desirable, and additional European languages are a plus.
