This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +35 more states.
• Management of vendors and implementation of Cybersecurity procedures and policies
• Planning, organizing, and overseeing laboratory medical device instrumentation for IT projects
• Evaluation of security, clinical, and user requirements
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory and documentation standards
• Offering expertise, guidance, and research in defining, designing, and adjusting specifications and processes
• Collaborating and engaging in the identification of both business and technical solutions
• Creating and managing complex standards and policies related to documentation
• Delivering training and educational curriculum for applications and systems to end-users
• Keeping up-to-date with professional and technical knowledge pertinent to the healthcare sector
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
• Valid clinical license, certification, or credential in the applicable state
• Comprehensive understanding of concepts relevant to the job function
• 4 to 7 years of experience in a healthcare setting
• General familiarity with information technology and the healthcare industry
• Experience in planning and reporting for medium-scale projects
• Strong communication and presentation skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to communicate and collaborate across different facilities and levels
• Capability to mentor less experienced team members
