IT Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Work collaboratively with business leaders and end-users to discover, evaluate, and document business requirements.

• Convert business needs into functional specifications, user stories, process flows, and system requirements.

• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and sessions for gathering requirements.

• Collaborate with developers, architects, and QA testers to ensure that solutions align with business expectations.

• Conduct gap analyses to pinpoint process inefficiencies or limitations in systems.

• Assist in the design and delivery of technical solutions, including participation in testing (UAT), troubleshooting, and validation.

• Create and maintain documentation such as process maps, requirement matrices, project plans, and application support materials.

• Aid in the development of Jira cards and project management plans.

• Support change management activities, user training, and rollout assistance.

• Track system performance and suggest improvements.

• Ensure compliance with IT governance, standards, and project methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Engineering.

• Over 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst within an IT environment.

• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles (SDLC, Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).

• Expertise in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation tools.

• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

• Capacity to translate technical concepts into business terminology and vice versa.
