This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the application-level solution design vision for Cloud processes across various business groups and technologies.

• Establish target-state, transition, and future-state solution designs that align with organizational strategies and application roadmaps, ensuring pattern consistency and reuse.

• Develop, implement, and refine governance frameworks, principles, standards, and reference models for solution design.

• Act as the reviewer for solution decisions, exceptions, and risk acceptance, overseeing and validating designs produced by other Solution Architects and technical teams.

• Ensure that solutions are upgrade-safe, secure, scalable, cost-efficient, and maintainable.

• Govern enterprise integration strategies, API standards, and data ownership frameworks.

• Ensure compliance of solutions with enterprise security, audit, compliance, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with executive leadership, business sponsors, and delivery teams to align technology strategies with business goals.

• Translate complex architectural concepts into guidance and recommendations suitable for executive-level stakeholders.

• Foster team collaboration by working alongside developers and stakeholders to deliver optimized applications and integrations, providing technical guidance during design and code reviews.

• Lead business interactions by engaging with partners to understand their needs, address questions and concerns, and translate requirements into actionable technical solutions.

• Mentor Solution Architects and Technical Architects on solution design principles, governance, design quality, and drive maturity through the adoption of standards and knowledge sharing.

• Exhibit curiosity and initiative by proactively exploring new technologies, methodologies, and tools, evaluating options, and experimenting with solutions that enhance scalability, security, and maintainability.

• Utilize strong research skills to conduct thorough evaluations of new technologies, frameworks, and best practices through documentation reviews, trusted resources, and community insights.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

• Over 15 years of experience in solution delivery, with substantial time in design and leadership roles.

• Demonstrated experience as a Principal Architect, Solution Architect, or IT Architect in large-scale implementation projects integrating multiple applications.

• Proven track record in designing custom UI/UX solutions that integrate with databases and web services for data retrieval and presentation.

• Strong history of defining and governing solution design standards and frameworks.

• Extensive experience in delivering large, multi-program, multi-vendor Oracle and non-Oracle initiatives.

• Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, executive communication, and decision-making.

• Ability to balance innovation, standardization, delivery pressures, and long-term architectural sustainability.

• In-depth architectural knowledge and hands-on experience with Cloud Architectures across various Oracle and non-Oracle enterprise platforms.

• Architecture expertise in:

• Cloud Fusion ERP, HCM, SCM, and EPM

• Enterprise integration patterns and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

• Oracle extensibility strategies using APEX, Visual Builder, and ORDS

• Reporting and analytics architecture (BI Publisher, OTBI)

• Fundamentals of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), IAM, security, and environments

• Non-Oracle Cloud Platforms such as Salesforce, UKG, Concur, Procore

• AI Services provided by Oracle, Microsoft, Google, and other vendors

• Strong understanding of how to evaluate and govern solutions utilizing both Oracle and non-Oracle integration platforms.

• Strong ability to assess designs for scalability, resiliency, security, cost, and operational supportability.
