iSeries Administrator – MIMIX

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Providing support for messaging services while ensuring a secure environment.

• Suggesting and implementing enhancements to the system.

• Overseeing system usage and performance, along with troubleshooting any issues that arise.

• Aiding in the upgrades or repairs of hardware and software.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with various iSeries (Power8, Power9, and Power10) operating systems, utilities, and hardware.

• Experience with OS upgrades and third-party software upgrades in a replication environment utilizing MIMIX and ITERA.

• Proficiency in storage management, TCP/IP, network monitoring, and associated tools.

• A bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.

• Additional desirable qualifications include:

• Experience in IBMi performance analysis for assessing/troubleshooting jobs that consume high CPU and/or DASD.

• Strong understanding of BRMS (Advanced BRMS NETWORK) and the configuration of external tape media libraries.

• In-depth knowledge of HELPSYSTEM products (ROBOT NETWORK, ROBOT CONSOLE, ROBOT SPACE, and ROBOT ALERT).
