This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Accountable for enhancing, supporting, and maintaining IT applications across the Virtua Health System.

• Conduct technical and functional analysis of applications, define system requirements, and create logical data models utilizing best practices for building, configuring, maintaining, and ensuring data integrity.

• Ensure that all system modifications comply with established change management procedures and protocols.

• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all assigned applications.

• Plan, develop, and execute testing protocols for supported applications.

• Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to cybersecurity and HIPAA regulations and practices.

• Provide daily support for IT applications, including error management, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems.

• Collaborate with vendors and IT partners to ensure continuous service and resolve issues during system upgrades and projects.

• Monitor the ServiceNow ticketing system to swiftly address incoming ticket incidents and requests.


⛳️ Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in IT or a healthcare operations-related field, which may include relevant coursework or healthcare/IT internships.

• Preferred experience in healthcare business or clinical specialties.

• Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, Visio, Project, and PowerPoint.

• Epic PB certification in billing or claims/remits is preferred.

• Epic certification in Cadence or Grand Central and experience in revenue cycle management will be considered.
