IOP/PSC Team Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist in the coordination and execution of audits.

• Perform quality checks on patient coordination tasks, specimen documentation, and communication logs, including the MPX platform.

• Support preparations for onsite visits and shadow staff to ensure adherence to protocols while identifying opportunities for process improvements.

• Provide daily assistance to the Phlebotomy Solutions team.

• Supervise, mentor, and develop phlebotomists across assigned locations.

• Recruit, onboard, and train new in-office phlebotomists.

• Ensure compliance with specimen handling protocols and electronic medical record documentation.

• Proactively address issues impacting operational performance.

• Manage the ordering and tracking of supplies.

• Collaborate with Field Sales, Clinical Operations, and Compliance to resolve issues and ensure coordinated patient support.

• Assist with team meetings, share updates, disseminate best practices, and uphold Natera’s standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required.

• At least 5 years of phlebotomy experience is required.

• A Phlebotomy Certificate is required in accordance with state regulations.

• Supervisory or team leadership experience in a clinical or laboratory operations setting is strongly preferred.

• Strong leadership and mentorship skills.

• High proficiency in problem-solving, conflict resolution, and time management.

• Familiarity with clinical compliance standards.

• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% for audits, site visits, and team support.

• Must adhere to clinical safety standards and wear appropriate attire, including scrubs, while on-site.
