Investment Team Internship

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Sourcing and analyzing deals: conducting market and competitive assessments, identifying and evaluating target companies within our key sectors.

• Due diligence and financial modeling: assisting in the due diligence process for prospective investments, executing financial analyses, and modeling leveraged buyouts (LBOs) alongside value creation strategies.

• Transaction and investment support: preparing deal documentation and Investment Committee reports, as well as organizing and following up on management meetings.

• Portfolio management: aiding in the enhancement of portfolio companies, particularly through value creation initiatives, market analysis, and monitoring operational key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Firm development: contributing to internal projects aimed at advancing the organization, streamlining processes, and shaping its strategic direction.

⛳️ Requirements

• A completed bachelor's degree or advanced master's studies in Business Administration, Finance, Management, or a STEM field with a finance focus, demonstrating strong academic performance.

• A minimum of two relevant internships in management consulting, investment banking, corporate development, private equity, or transaction services.

• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; a solid understanding of valuation and prior experience in financial modeling (including LBOs) is advantageous.

• Fluent in both German and English, with strong analytical capabilities and an organized approach to work.

• High initiative, a sense of ownership, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to thrive under pressure in fast-paced deal environments.
