This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Recognize customer requirements and deliver wealth and investment-related sales and services to BMO clients or potential clients.
• Counsel customers on wealth and investment strategies and offerings that align with their objectives.
• Execute sales and service tasks for the client following established procedures.
• Identify and refer clients to other business teams as necessary.
• Conduct outbound calls to clients and actively seek opportunities to improve customer experience by offering relevant products.
• Keep informed about consumer needs, industry trends, best practices, and the regulatory landscape.
• Deliver high-quality professional sales and service for client and prospect inquiries and requests.
• Meet sales goals with an emphasis on pertinent investment products.
• Oversee all transactional outcomes from customer interactions or direct them to suitable internal business teams.
• Elevate complex or unresolved customer issues to senior management as needed.
• Complete required documentation following customer interactions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of investment markets, practices, and trends.
• Incorporate marketing initiatives and programs into customer discussions when applicable.
• Ensure the confidentiality of customer and Bank information.
• Detect and report any suspicious activity patterns.
• Typically possess 2 - 3 years of relevant experience.
• A post-secondary degree in a related field is preferred, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent professional experience.
• Familiarity with competitive market trends and product offerings.
• Knowledge of BMO Investment / BMO InvestorLine products and services.
• Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) / CIRO licensing as an Investment Representative is preferred.
• The Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE) and the Derivatives Exam must be completed within a specified timeframe to function fully in the role.
• Basic understanding of Risk Management & Compliance.
• Specialized knowledge is required.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English, with Mandarin and Cantonese preferred.
