Investment Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify and nurture early-stage investment prospects within the NWA ecosystem.

• Collaborate closely with regional ESO partners to enhance deal flow.

• Develop and analyze financial models while leading due diligence efforts.

• Assess various financing instruments and compose investment memos.

• Oversee the complete deal process from sourcing to closing.

• Maintain ongoing relationships with portfolio companies.

• Act as a prominent figure within the NWA ecosystem.

• Foster connections with local and regional investors.

• Generate regular updates on pipeline and portfolio performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 7 years of experience with a CDFI, bank, investment organization, or accelerator in Arkansas.

• Proficient in analyzing financial statements and creating financial projections.

• Knowledge of alternative financing structures, particularly redeemable equity and revenue-share debt.

• Established presence within the NWA entrepreneurial ecosystem.

• Strong ability to convey complex financial concepts to audiences without technical backgrounds.

• Expertise in Excel and Google Sheets for financial modeling purposes.
