Investment Executive

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Proactively sourcing new investment opportunities and qualifying incoming leads for the firm by engaging with entrepreneurs.

• Assisting the team in evaluating new investment prospects through market research, product evaluations, competitive assessments, metrics analysis, customer/user feedback, and operational and financial due diligence.

• Negotiating all transactions between the business and potential acquisitions; preparing investment conclusions and related presentations for management for the evaluation, valuation, and modeling of various transaction types and structures.

• Collaborating with legal and finance departments to ensure seamless execution of merger and acquisition transactions.

• Creating detailed financial models and valuation analyses for all potential transactions and contributing to the preparation of technical reports for senior management that effectively communicate all findings from reviews.

• Staying updated on market trends related to mergers and acquisitions, ensuring that all M&A initiatives of the business comply with legal requirements.

• Supporting and mentoring Analysts and Associates regarding the engagement activities with prospective business/company owners and other M&A responsibilities.

• Identifying and mitigating potential risks associated with acquisitions and the execution of deals.

• Assisting in the preparation of fundraising presentations for the company to facilitate acquisitions.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree *required* (Master's degree preferred) in Business/Accounting/Finance/Economics or any related field with a strong GPA.

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in Private Equity Investing, Corporate Finance, Banking, or in a M&A role.

• Proven track record of building relationships and successfully managing foreign business executives and multiple stakeholders.

• Strong understanding of financial statements, financial concepts, financial modeling, business modeling, and valuation skills.

• Exceptional communication skills (written/verbal/presentation) along with a high level of curiosity, strong discipline, and attention to detail.

• Ability to quickly integrate and work effectively within a global team of professionals.

• Capability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, demanding environment with time-sensitive deliverables and a high degree of quality and accuracy.

• A result-oriented individual who is self-motivated, driven, proactive, requires minimal supervision, works well both independently and within a group, and is comfortable interacting with business executives.

• Proficiency in using Ms Word, Ms Excel, and PowerPoint is essential.
