šŸ“‹ Description

• Manage all facets of inventory planning, control, and analysis.

• Enhance inventory availability while balancing cost based on MOQ/EOQ, demand, and operational efficiency.

• Take ownership of the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system.

• Convert demand forecasts and production schedules into purchasing requirements.

• Track inventory health through key performance indicators.

• Assess future purchasing needs for raw materials, packaging components, and finished products.

• Convey purchasing requirements to the Purchasing team.

• Detect and address material shortages, surplus positions, and supply chain constraints.

• Evaluate inventory turnover, days of inventory on hand, aging stock, and risks of obsolescence.

• Suggest corrective measures for slow-moving, aging, or obsolete inventory.

• Create and manage inventory KPI dashboards and reports.

• Present insights to the CFO and senior leadership.

• Aid in month-end and year-end closing processes, inventory valuation, reserve calculations, and variance analyses.

• Reconcile physical and cycle counts with system records and investigate any discrepancies.

• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Purchasing/Procurement, Production, Sales, and Finance teams.

• Assist in budgeting, cash flow forecasting, and working capital analysis.

• Lead ongoing enhancements of inventory planning processes, systems, and tools.

• Ensure adherence to internal controls and relevant regulatory requirements.

• Facilitate internal and external inventory audits.

• Report directly to the CFO.


ā›³ļø Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Finance, or a related discipline, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to this.

• Over 6 years of experience in inventory planning, procurement, materials planning, or supply chain operations.

• Experience preferably in the cosmetics, beauty, personal care, or related consumer packaged goods (CPG) sectors.

• Proven experience with MRP/ERP systems; NetSuite is highly preferred.

• Strong grasp of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and inventory management principles.

• Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and forecasting.

• Familiarity with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau is advantageous.

• Strong analytical and numerical abilities.

• Knowledge of production workflows, inventory transactions, goods receipt processes, and inventory controls.

• Financial insight regarding inventory costs, operational impacts, and stock adjustments.

• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities across various functional teams.

• Capability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
