Inventory Management Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Implement Wurth’s inventory management solutions, which encompass vending, VMI, and crib systems.

• Oversee larger installations that necessitate the involvement of multiple personnel.

• Engage in customer solution discovery activities, including conducting crib crawls.

• Communicate IT needs and fulfill connectivity requirements with customer representatives.

• Conduct pre-installation tasks to guarantee customer readiness.

• Keep all stakeholders updated on progress during crib crawls and installations.

• Meet with the customer champion on-site to discuss the scope of work and safety protocols.

• Execute installations according to specifications and within the designated timeframe.

• Report incomplete installations to the manager and propose a plan for resolution.

• Provide training to customers following the installation of solutions.

• Carry out maintenance and break-fix tasks as needed.

• Offer on-the-job training for new associates.

• Advocate for Wurth’s company culture and MSM mission.

• Basic mechanical skills are required.

• A fundamental understanding of network connectivity is preferred.

• Ability to work in industrial environments is essential.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

• Strong interpersonal and social skills are necessary.

• Capability to communicate effectively and interact with others is needed.

• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities is essential.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time is required.

• Preferred to be located near an airport in the Memphis, TN, or Dallas, TX area.
