This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Take full responsibility for the complete inventory and offsite equipment management across the organization, ensuring that balances are precise, reconciled, and compliant with financial reporting and IFRS standards.
• Serve as the Finance lead for inventory and offsite equipment, collaborating with Operations, Deployment, Sales Ops, Supply Chain, and external partners to address discrepancies and implement corrective measures.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities related to inventory and offsite equipment, which includes reconciliations, variance analysis, root-cause examination, journal entries, and preparation of audit-ready documentation and walkthroughs.
• Recognize and mitigate risks associated with inventory and assets, including aging inventory, shrinkage, obsolete equipment, write-offs, and process gaps that could affect gross margin or audit preparedness.
• Convert inventory and equipment activities into financial results, ensuring adequate treatment in COGS, capitalization, depreciation, amortization, and margin reporting.
• Develop, document, and enforce controls for inventory and fixed assets, ensuring adherence to accounting policies, internal controls, and external audit standards.
• Act as a reliable advisor to Finance leadership and cross-functional teams, offering inventory and asset reporting along with executive-ready insights that reveal trends, risks, root causes, and opportunities for enhancement throughout the asset lifecycle.
• Continuously enhance processes related to inventory, offsite equipment, and fixed assets, minimizing manual effort while boosting system reliability and automation.
• Propel system alignment and automation among manufacturers, suppliers, 3PLs, Salesforce, Klairy, and NetSuite to guarantee accurate, timely, and auditable reporting.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management, account management, finance, or operations.
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data and investigate discrepancies.
• Advanced expertise in Excel or Google Sheets (including reconciliations, pivots, and lookups).
• Familiarity with ERP, inventory management systems, and ordering systems/CRM.
• Experience in supporting audits or compliance initiatives.
• Proven ability to work across functions and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
• Effective communicator who can simplify complex inventory or financial matters.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, growing environment.
• Background in hardware-enabled SaaS or supply chain settings (preferred).
• Experience in analyzing and working with large, complex datasets to derive insights and support decision-making (preferred).
• Knowledge of data querying, modeling, and visualization tools, such as SQL, Looker, Tableau, or similar platforms (preferred).
