Inventory Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Oversee the cost of goods sold, manage inventory demand forecasting, and provide clients with support for ad-hoc pricing and margin analysis.

• Facilitate the onboarding process for new client accounts and set up their accounting systems.

• Cultivate client relationships by offering timely assistance and guidance during regular check-ins and daily communications.

• Administer retail operational accounting tasks, including issuing invoices, reconciling discounts and chargebacks, collecting deposits, and matching accounts receivable.

• Monitor and manage reconciliation schedules for prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accrued liabilities/expenses, and deferred revenue.

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, addressing daily inquiries from clients and vendors.

• Assist with month-end accounting activities, account reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.

• Support the Controller in the preparation of financial reports and analyses for client leadership, and coordinate efforts with external partners and investors.

• Exemplify best practices across all accounting and financial processes in line with GAAP, working collaboratively with team members to analyze and enhance both internal and external processes.

• Be highly organized, with a keen focus on accuracy and detail.

• Exhibit strong judgment and independence in prioritizing competing deadlines and client demands.

• Communicate financial concepts effectively, both in writing and verbally, to audiences with varying levels of financial understanding.

• Have 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.

• Hold a Bachelor's, Associate's degree, or Accounting Certification.

• Be proficient in ERP systems.

• Have required experience in inventory accounting.
