Inventory Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Execute Inventory Purchase Order matching.

• Reconcile inventory accounts with the general ledger on a monthly basis.

• Assess inventory data to detect trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for enhancement.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to guarantee inventory accuracy and address any discrepancies.

• Generate inventory-related reports for management and external stakeholders.

• Oversee inventory levels and recommend improvements for inventory management systems.

• Offer assistance during financial audits.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related discipline.

• Demonstrated experience as an inventory accountant or in a comparable position.

• Strong grasp of inventory management principles.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as Netsuite and Sage.

• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical capabilities.

• Ability to effectively communicate with team members and management.

• Familiarity with GAAP and IFRS accounting standards.

• Must be willing to work night shifts (US hours) and during Philippine holidays.

• Must be able to work at the Alabang, Muntinlupa office when on-site work resumes (currently temporary WFH).
