International Trade Compliance Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Evaluating business partners and sales orders flagged by the screening system due to false positives, partial matches, or 100% matches with entities on sanctioned party lists.

• Categorizing all product master data using a Harmonized Tariff Classification and Export Classification Control Number.

• Analyzing, reviewing, and approving transactions intended for sanctioned countries.

• Managing routine administrative duties related to department policies, procedures, and work instructions.

• Ensuring documents are easily accessible and maintained in accordance with required timelines.

• Overseeing routine administrative responsibilities associated with our global, regional, and site-specific training plans and record management within our Learning Management System.

• Collecting Business Metrics and KPIs for our monthly ITC reporting.

• Conducting risk management, financial reporting, and transactional audits.


⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.

• A BA/BS degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.

• Proficient understanding of import and export processes and regulations.

• Advanced skills in Excel.

• Strong proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks.

• Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset.

• Capability to work with a high degree of precision.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal customers across different time zones.

• Experience in an international team setting is essential.

• Certification in US & EU Import and Export trade regulations is a plus.

• Experience with Internal Control Plans is advantageous.

• Familiarity with international logistics is considered a plus.

• Knowledge of SAP, GTS, Process Weaver, MS SharePoint, data systems utilized by freight carriers or brokers, Business Object/Power BI is a plus.
