This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
• Proactive oversight of the accuracy of the assigned Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements.
• Conduct monthly variance analysis for the Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements.
• Perform quarterly reviews of Balance Sheet variance analysis and present findings to the Controlling Manager and Group Financial Controller.
• Ensure adherence to regional accounting policies, including IFRS for management reporting and Local GAAP for statutory reporting.
• Contribute insights to the BSC team regarding judgmental accounting matters, collaborating with technical accounting when necessary.
• Collaborate closely with the Business Finance Team to address relevant variance analyses.
• Work in partnership with the Reporting Team and the Controlling Team to enhance process improvements.
• Take ownership of the integrity of the regional financial statements and the associated internal controls.
• Review and approve high-risk journal entries.
• Preparation of statutory Year End Closing in accordance with local GAAP.
• Drafting of the financial statements.
• Establish strong professional relationships with the statutory auditor and other external advisors.
• Oversee VAT and income tax compliance for the designated region.
• Possess advanced proficiency in MS Office.
• Have experience in finance, including accounting, financial controlling, or external audit.
• Demonstrate strong project management and time/priority management capabilities.
• Experience with the statutory audit process and financial statements preparation.
• Familiarity with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards).
• Involvement in M&A transactions.
• Experience with ERP systems and other reporting platforms such as MS Business Central, Dynamics NAV, Oracle NetSuite, and Hyperion Reporting.
