Internal Tools Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance specialized custom tools, integrating with core platforms through APIs to retrieve and send essential data, aimed at improving team member workflows and boosting efficiency and effectiveness.

• Thoughtfully utilize AI in relevant feature development initiatives to further optimize team member workflows and capabilities.

• Support the administration and functioning of servers that host internal tools.

• Offer assistance to end users (colleagues) regarding custom-developed tools and applications.

• You are fully fluent in English with outstanding communication abilities.

• You have a strong sense of curiosity and a desire for professional advancement, continuously striving to enhance both your technical skills and soft skills.

• The capability to work autonomously in a very small team, posing insightful questions and proactively foreseeing challenges and possible solutions.

• An inclination to look beyond the text in the Jira ticket, thinking more broadly and deeply about the assigned tasks.

• You consistently meet deadlines and take personal responsibility for outcomes. You communicate proactively if timelines are at risk and concentrate on delivering tangible business value swiftly and efficiently.

• Eagerness to utilize tools such as Claude Code to boost your personal efficiency within a “trust but verify” framework.

• Experience in the following areas:

• Python (Quart, FastAPI, async patterns, pytest)

• TypeScript / JavaScript (Node.js)

• MySQL

• REST API structure & JWT authentication
