Internal Medicine Field Medical Director, MD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Deliver cardiovascular-metabolic therapeutic and product expertise to a diverse range of external medical stakeholders.

• Develop and implement an independent medical strategy and engagement plan for designated external medical stakeholders.

• Stay updated on relevant therapeutic areas, disease states, and Pfizer medications.

• Act as a liaison and resource for medical information and insights from external medical stakeholders.

• Provide education to external medical stakeholders addressing gaps in patient care.

• Foster expertise in research and therapeutic areas, including knowledge of the latest congress data and disease state literature.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD or DO degree is mandatory.

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required.

• Recognized subject matter expert among both internal and external stakeholders.

• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and address the demands of various external and internal stakeholders.

• Capability to manage and resolve conflicts constructively.

• Ability to oversee a substantial volume of projects in a remote working environment.

• Knowledge of internal and external SOPs, rules, and regulations related to Pfizer and interactions with external medical stakeholders.
