Internal Communications Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Report directly to our Director of Communications and Content within the Marketing team, collaborating closely with various stakeholders throughout the organization.

• Design and spearhead internal communication initiatives that keep our team informed and connected during our rapid growth phase.

• Oversee an internal communications editorial calendar, coordinating with other business partners to share updates related to ezCater’s business strategy, cultural values, people priorities, and change communications.

• Determine what messages we need to convey, the timing for these communications, and the most effective methods to share them across internal channels (including company meetings, email, Slack, events, and Confluence).

• Innovate new communication strategies that inform and inspire employees by experimenting with and assessing various channels, content types, and media.

• Stay deeply engaged with all aspects of the business, cultivating strong relationships in every department, and proactively seeking out compelling stories to share in a way that energizes and engages the ezCater team through internal channels.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of communications experience, ideally leading internal communications for remote or hybrid companies at a similar stage.

• Proven ability to translate business objectives into a persuasive communications strategy that aligns with our business goals, culture, and people.

• Exceptional communication abilities—written, visual, and verbal—with the skill to translate these into emails, presentations, speeches, and more.

• Experience collaborating with senior leaders, demonstrating the confidence to challenge and guide the messages they deliver and their delivery methods.

• The capacity to adapt and excel in a dynamic environment, managing multiple tasks with outstanding organizational skills.

• Willingness to travel up to 5 days per quarter for Together Weeks, team gatherings, and other relevant events, as needed.
