Intern Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Work closely with the development team to grasp the requirements and specifications of minor features from the backlog.

• Support the design, development, and implementation of minor features utilizing the provided technology stacks, including Jira, Sentry, Django, Ruby, PHP, and GitHub.

• Produce clean and efficient code, adhering to coding standards and best practices, while following direction from senior developers.

• Perform thorough testing and debugging of features to ensure proper functionality and high quality.

• Collaborate with team members during code reviews, integrating feedback and suggestions for enhancements.

• Assist in the upkeep and documentation of the existing codebase, maintaining code integrity and readability.

• Engage in team meetings and scrum sessions to report on feature development progress.

• Seek assistance from senior developers when encountering challenges or obstacles in feature implementation.

• Exhibit a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Previous experience with software development languages such as Django, Ruby, and PHP is advantageous.

• Awareness of version control systems like Git and software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a quick aptitude for learning new technologies.
