Intern – Automation and Financial Modeling

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Data Management: Assist in gathering, structuring, and analyzing data from diverse sources essential for the effective operation of the utilized tool;

• Financial Modeling: Aid in the development and upkeep of financial models applied in mortgage financing simulations, covering interest calculations, fees, amortization, and financial forecasts;

• Process Automation: Support the creation and maintenance of automation processes for data analysis, processing, and consolidation using programming languages, emphasizing efficiency improvements, routine standardization, and minimizing manual tasks;

• Quantitative Analysis: Conduct examinations of operational and financial data to uncover patterns, discrepancies, and opportunities to enhance processes and tools;

• Results Consolidation: Assist in generating reports and dashboards for effective data visualization and informed decision-making;

• Troubleshooting: Identify and address issues that may occur within the tool, proposing and executing effective solutions to enhance the quality of the information produced;

• Documentation: Encourage the upkeep of technical documentation for the tool, ensuring it remains current to facilitate comprehension by other teams;

• Requirements Gathering: Aid in the collection of requirements and process mapping associated with financial operations and the tools utilized by the organization;

• Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing improvement and process automation initiatives grounded in data analysis and the optimization of existing calculations and models;

• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with team members, engage in alignment meetings, and share expertise to advance the solutions developed;

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in mathematical modeling;

• Understanding of programming logic;

• Familiarity with JavaScript;

• Knowledge of Python;

• Experience with databases;

• Intermediate to Advanced skills in Excel / Google Sheets;

• Skills in debugging;

• Experience with Git and version control;
