Intern – Analytics, Data Science

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Develop, construct, and uphold automated dashboards utilizing Looker (Looker Studio/Google Data Studio) to monitor KPIs and overall business performance.

• Write and enhance SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from multiple databases (e.g., BigQuery, PostgreSQL).

• Generate engaging visual representations of intricate data sets to present insights in a manner that is easily understandable for non-technical stakeholders.

• Assist in the cleaning and validation of data sets to guarantee the accuracy and integrity of all reports.

• Provide support to the team with in-depth analyses of specific business challenges as they emerge.

• Recognize opportunities to automate manual reporting tasks using tools such as Google Sheets or scheduled SQL scripts.

⛳️ Requirements

• SQL: Fundamental to intermediate knowledge (joins, subqueries, aggregations).

• Visualization: Practical experience (academic or project-focused) with Looker Studio, Tableau, or Power BI.

• Spreadsheets: Proficient in Google Sheets/Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related quantitative discipline.

• Strong capability to 'connect the dots' and convey numerical data into narratives.

• Ability to articulate technical findings in a clear and concise manner.

• Must be actively enrolled in a university program that necessitates On-the-Job Training (OJT) or an internship for graduation.

• Capability to provide a School Endorsement Letter and facilitate the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the company and the educational institution.

• Willingness to complete the required number of hours (e.g., 200–600 hours) as specified by the school curriculum.
