📋 Description

• AI-First Delivery: Integrating AI coding tools and agentic workflows is essential to your development process. You don’t merely prompt an AI for assistance with features; you strategize on constructing systems, skills, and workflows that enable AI to handle more tasks, with increased reliability over time.

• Software Development: Design, construct, test, and deploy backend services and APIs. Maintain code quality, ensure maintainability, and optimize performance within a contemporary platform that operates alongside a substantial legacy system.

• Innovation in AI-Assisted Development: Propel innovation in the team's software development practices. Investigate and advocate for new tools, techniques, and agentic patterns—be it custom Claude skills, orchestration frameworks, or entirely novel solutions. We prioritize systems that generate features rather than relying solely on hand-coding.

• Database Engineering: Design and enhance database schemas, write and optimize intricate SQL queries, and support migration strategies. You are adept at navigating the data layer within extensive, complex relational databases.

• Architecture & Design: Participate in architectural decision-making, including API design, component design, database schema evolution, and ensuring system scalability. Confirm that solutions are in alignment with the platform's long-term sustainability.

• End-to-End Ownership: Take responsibility for features from their initial conception through QA to production. Collaborate closely with Product to validate functionalities, clarify requirements, and guarantee successful releases. Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Quality & Engineering Practices: Assume complete responsibility for quality. Develop and uphold unit, integration, and end-to-end tests. Engage in code reviews and contribute to enhancements in the CI/CD pipeline and technical documentation. You are accountable for the quality of what you deliver.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 2 years of practical development experience with a modern backend programming language (e.g., C#/.NET, Java, Python, TypeScript/Node).

• At least 1 year of proven experience with AI development tools (e.g., Claude Code) and agentic coding workflows.

• Strong foundation in computer science and engineering: a solid understanding of architecture, data structures, system design, and the capability to assess code quality.

• Proficient in SQL, including schema design, query optimization, and migration planning across PostgreSQL or MS SQL Server.

• Ability to read, analyze, and extract business logic from extensive, complex codebases, with or without the aid of AI-assisted tools.

• Comprehensive understanding of API design, distributed systems concepts, and current software development practices.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Competence in time management and task prioritization in a fast-paced environment.

• Preferred qualifications: Familiarity with C# and the .NET framework — a significant advantage. Experience with React / TypeScript. Background in Electronic Medical Record software or regulated healthcare settings. Knowledge of K8s, Azure, or cloud-native architectures. Experience in modernizing or refactoring legacy systems.
