Intermediate NextJS Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Act as the authority in the React framework for the project, spearheading the technical design and development of the portal.

• Collaborate with the Development Lead to create a robust, scalable architecture that fulfills business requirements.

• Guide the development team in best practices for portal implementation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality code and performance.

• Partner with the Senior Project Manager, Product Owner, and Scrum Master to guarantee seamless integration with other project elements.

• Enhance the portal's performance to align with both technical and business benchmarks.

• Supervise testing and quality assurance processes, ensuring compliance with project standards and expectations.

• Effectively communicate with stakeholders, offering technical insights and updates on progress.

• Stay informed about the latest React features and industry trends to improve project outcomes.

• Promote innovative solutions to enhance user experience and business value.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering their React skills and overall abilities.

• Identify technical risks and collaborate on strategies for mitigation.

• Serve as the primary technical contact for frontend development, ensuring alignment with external vendors when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Extensive experience with React and the Nest.JS framework.

• Proven experience as an intermediate frontend developer in large-scale web portal projects.

• In-depth knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, Redux, and modern front-end build pipelines (e.g., Webpack).

• Proficient with Nest.JS, including experience with TypeScript, API development, and database management (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and message queuing technologies (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).

• Understanding of GraphQL.

• Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and principles of responsive design.

• Background in continuous integration and deployment workflows.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience in Agile development environments, collaborating closely with Scrum teams.
