Interim Specialist, Regulatory

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Provide support for product registration and notification across all e.l.f. Beauty brands, liaising with partners in India, GCC, EU, UK, Australia, and Mexico. This entails creating, reviewing, and submitting necessary documentation, monitoring registration statuses and timelines, and identifying efficiencies within each process.

• Work collaboratively with consultants, distributors, and manufacturers to ensure compliance requirements are fulfilled and registrations/notifications are completed in alignment with brand timelines.

• Assist the Regulatory Manager in gathering information on forthcoming cosmetic, OTC, and packaging-related regulations, and work cross-functionally to implement necessary actions.

• Support registration and reporting requirements for Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).

• Address Regulatory-related inquiries from retailers concerning e.l.f. Beauty products.

• Keep track of new regulations and amendments; engage in trade association committees.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in the cosmetic industry in a Regulatory Affairs capacity.

• A science background (BS degree or higher) is essential.

• Familiarity and practical knowledge of Cosmetics products regulatory requirements, particularly in color cosmetics and skin care, including ingredients, labeling, notification/registration, product claims, and packaging standards.

• Knowledgeable about international Regulatory framework requirements for ingredients, finished products, claims, packaging, and artwork standards.

• Highly collaborative, excelling both independently and in team settings to achieve objectives that advance the business.

• Exceptional organizational abilities.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in learning and using web-based databases and submission portals.

• Excellent computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Adobe, and PowerPoint.

• Must be self-driven and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
