This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Offers temporary administrative and leadership assistance.
• Directs and utilizes resources for general administrative operations, informed by experience, organizational objectives, and operational strategies.
• Accountable for managing cyclical projects.
• Requires regular travel to various facilities.
• Engages in intricate administrative issues where the analysis of problems, data, and processes necessitates advanced specialist knowledge and extensive industry and technical expertise.
• Provides administrative leadership and nursing expertise.
• Develops and tracks suitable indicators for quality and continuous improvement.
• Oversees operations, including nursing, human resources, budgeting and finance, long- and short-term planning, as well as legal and regulatory compliance.
• Conducts interviews, hires, counsels, disciplines, and when necessary, terminates employees.
• Delivers professional, technical, and clinical expertise.
• Enacts the mission, vision, plans, and standards of the organization.
• Responsible for the clinical nursing practice setting.
• Contributes to the strategic planning process, daily operations, and achievement of organizational objectives.
• Supervises staff who must apply appropriate age-related resident/patient care protocols concerning the physical and psychological needs of the residents.
• A bachelor's degree in health care administration or a related field is required.
• A minimum of two years of experience as a long-term care administrator is necessary.
• An active Nursing Home Administrator's (NHA) license in the applicable state of work through the National Association of Long Term Care Administrators Boards (NAB) is required.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is also beneficial.
• Additional licenses as required by state regulations and facility needs.
