Integrity Analyst – Facility Coding Quality, Inpatient

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +32 more states.

📋 Description

• Conduct research, interpret, and apply coding, payer, and regulatory requirements to ensure accurate and compliant Professional and Hospital coding practices.

• Create, maintain, and revise coding guidance, standard operating procedures, reference materials, and position statements to guarantee enterprise-wide consistency.

• Facilitate and support coding quality audits by managing requests, maintaining documentation records, and verifying the completeness and accuracy of documentation.

• Evaluate coding quality data and audit findings to pinpoint trends, risks, and areas for improvement.

• Collaborate with Integrity Operations, coding leadership, clinicians, and educational teams to enhance documentation quality and coding precision.

⛳️ Requirements

• An Associate degree or equivalent education and experience is required.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in expert-level professional coding or hospital-based coding.

• Certification from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) or the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC), such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, or CPC.

• In-depth knowledge of ICD, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines.

• Strong organizational and communication skills.

• Advanced analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail.
