Integration Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement integrations tailored to client specifications utilizing Flexspring’s integration framework.

• Collaborate with Project Managers to evaluate client data mappings and technical specifications.

• Conduct integration testing, facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT), and oversee go-live processes.

• Document integration logic, configuration details, and technical intricacies for both clients and internal teams.

• Diagnose production integration issues, determine root causes, and execute solutions while adhering to defined support SLAs.

• Maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams throughout the phases of development, testing, and support.

• Record investigation procedures and resolutions in Salesforce Service Cloud, keeping stakeholders updated.

• Facilitate resolution of support cases by collaborating with Support, Technical Consultants, third-party partners, and clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree or college diploma in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related area, or a comparable mix of education and relevant experience.

• Proficiency in English is necessary.

• Significant backend development experience, particularly strong skills in Java.

• Familiarity with Groovy or similar JVM-based programming languages.

• Experience with modern frontend frameworks, such as React or similar technologies.

• Practical experience in building or supporting API-based integrations using REST, SOAP, or GraphQL.

• Understanding of file-based integrations, including SFTP, CSV, XML, and JSON.

• Solid grasp of system-to-system data flows, authentication processes, and error handling.

• Experience with or integration of HRIS and/or Payroll systems is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of ERP/financial systems or how payroll data influences reporting and General Ledger processes is beneficial.

• Capability to articulate technical concepts, integration logic, and data mappings to non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• A proactive ownership mindset and ability to thrive in a fully remote setting.

• Experience with HR and/or financial data integrations.

• Familiarity with HR platforms or enterprise systems commonly utilized in people operations.

• Proficiency in additional languages such as Spanish, Arabic, or other languages is an advantage.
