This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Saudi Arabia.
• Join our API Management Development Team.
• Oversee the complete cycle of API implementation on the API Management Platform throughout the organization.
• Work collaboratively with a team of designers and developers on both internal and external APIs for various projects.
• Engage in solution discussions with the team’s Designers and Architects.
• Attend daily technical status meetings and provide project managers with project updates.
• Assist with the project's end-to-end testing activities, focusing on issues related to implementation compliance with design.
• At least 5 years of experience in Systems Integration, including proficiency in API Development with practical experience in API Management Solutions.
• Proficient in English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience collaborating with API development teams on large-scale projects, with hands-on experience in implementing Enterprise-level APIs for substantial organizations using APIGEE.
• Extensive knowledge of APIGEE Policies concerning Security, Throttling, Data Transformation, etc.
• Strong expertise in API Security mechanisms such as Basic Auth, oAuth2 flows, SSL Mutual Authentication, etc., and their implementation on APIGEE.
• Experience with JavaScript and its application within APIGEE.
• A solid understanding of API Design, coupled with hands-on experience in crafting and documenting API Specifications and Design Documents.
• Clear comprehension of the APIGEE on-premise infrastructure and its components.
• Clear comprehension of the APIGEE Cloud infrastructure and its components.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team leads, designers, and project managers to provide regular status updates (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Extensive knowledge of RESTful API methodologies and principles, along with strong experience in REST, JSON, and familiarity with SOAP and XML.
• Must possess experience and a clear understanding of the OpenAPI (Swagger) specification.
• Strong understanding of security protocols and networking requirements associated with API and Services exposure.
• Practical knowledge of DevOps, continuous integration (CI), and continuous delivery (CD).
• Previous experience adhering to Design/Development Governance Principles and Guidelines.
• Prior experience working with Enterprise Integration Patterns and Frameworks.
