This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Review and assess incoming loan applications along with their supporting documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Conduct an initial evaluation of borrower information and financial data.
• Verify and systematically organize documents submitted via CRM or document management systems.
• Input, update, and maintain precise records in internal systems and spreadsheets.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to monitor, analyze, and validate application data (including basic formulas, data checks, and reconciliation).
• Liaise with internal teams to clarify any missing or inconsistent details in applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments (credit, underwriting, operations) to facilitate the loan processing workflow.
• Ensure prompt processing of applications, adhering to strict deadlines and SLA requirements.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies, errors, or missing information, escalating issues when necessary.
• Assist in document preparation and review utilizing tools such as Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat.
• Maintain a keen attention to detail to ensure data integrity and compliance with internal standards.
• Adhere to established intake procedures and actively contribute to process enhancements where applicable.
• Address internal inquiries regarding application status or documentation.
• Uphold confidentiality and manage sensitive financial information appropriately.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, such as translation & interpretation, is preferred.
• Experience:
• - 0 to 5 years of relevant experience.
• - Previous positions in data entry, lending, intake, credit, financial analysis, or similar roles are preferred, especially for those with private lending experience.
• - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Technical Skills Required:
• - Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel (including formulas, data review, and basic analysis).
• - Experience with Adobe Acrobat is advantageous.
• - Familiarity with CRM systems or document management tools would be a significant asset.
• - Comfortable with technology and eager to quickly learn new software.
• Soft Skills Required:
• - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• - Strong ability to promote teamwork and collaboration across various departments.
• - Skilled in managing tight deadlines while juggling multiple tasks.
