Insurance Strategy Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take charge of significant, high-impact workstreams within the Insurance Segment Strategy team's project portfolio, overseeing everything from problem structuring to analysis and recommendations.

• Examine market trends, competitive dynamics, and internal performance metrics to guide strategic decision-making.

• Create clear, data-driven recommendations and effectively communicate findings to senior leadership.

• Work collaboratively with stakeholders throughout the organization to convert strategy into actionable execution.

• Develop executive-level presentations and materials for senior leaders and the Board of Directors.

• Assist in the annual strategic planning process and in conducting ongoing business reviews.

• Mentor and nurture junior team members, promoting a collaborative team atmosphere.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required.

• A minimum of 2 years of full-time experience with a top management consulting firm and/or relevant strategy consulting experience outside of a consulting firm, along with an additional 2-3 years of full-time work experience in a role that demands core strategy consulting skills and capabilities.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to derive structured insights from complex datasets.

• Exceptional communication skills, with experience in preparing and delivering presentations at the executive level.

• Capability to work across functions and influence key stakeholders within a matrixed environment.

• Proven experience managing substantial workstreams or independent projects.
