Insurance Broker – Contractor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Account Executives to enhance insurance sales as part of Seso's comprehensive product offerings.

• Act as a subject matter expert on Seso's workers compensation program during sales discussions with potential and current clients.

• Oversee insurance production tasks throughout the application, quotation, proposal, and binding stages.

• Cultivate relationships with underwriters to obtain competitive terms for clients.

• Handle endorsement requests and guarantee timely and accurate updates to policies.

• Assist clients with claims, offering guidance on filling out claims forms and navigating the claims process.

• Facilitate policy renewals through proactive service and effective communication.

• Process client requests for certificates of insurance, endorsements, and other policy-related inquiries.

• Document activities in Seso's systems to ensure precise record-keeping.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active P&C insurance broker license in good standing (contractor is responsible for maintaining the license and completing continuing education independently).

• Over 5 years of experience in P&C brokerage with a solid understanding of workers compensation coverage, exposures, and markets.

• Proven knowledge of fundamental insurance principles and structures, with the ability to clarify them to clients.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing abilities.

• Familiarity with Applied Epic / EZLynx and Salesforce CRM.

• Current Errors & Omissions (E&O) insurance coverage.

• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

• Previous experience in the agriculture industry is a plus.

• Previous experience in the tech industry is a plus.
