Insurance Discovery Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Assist R1’s Insurance Discovery product by verifying and integrating platform-identified patient insurance coverage into R1 and client host systems.

• Oversee a coverage work queue.

• Investigate eligibility.

• Collaborate with payers and provider teams.

• Revise patient records and adhere to client SOPs/documentation while ensuring HIPAA compliance.

• Aid in metrics/reporting and suggest enhancements to processes and products.

• Act as a liaison between clients and internal coverage loading teams by facilitating training, updating documentation, and interpreting client/Product/Operations requests into coverage loading workflows.

• Experience in revenue cycle (eligibility & denials preferred).

• Exceptional attention to detail and documentation abilities.

• Proficiency in Excel is essential; willingness to learn basic SQL (training will be provided).

• Collaborative and adaptable mindset; comfortable with change and occasional extended hours.
