This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.
• Engage with potential clients who have shown interest in marketing initiatives.
• Perform detailed needs assessments to uncover coverage deficiencies and financial objectives.
• Propose and sell solutions for life, long-term care, and disability insurance.
• Provide a top-notch, consultative experience for clients through phone and virtual interactions.
• Collaborate with financial advisors and referral partners on client cases.
• Clearly articulate product options, strategies, and planning concepts.
• Offer insights on estate, business, and insurance planning fundamentals.
• Stay informed about term, whole life, UL, VUL, LTC, and DI products.
• Educate clients and advisors on the features and advantages of products.
• Assist with advanced concepts such as coverage design, 1035 exchanges, and needs assessments.
• Share suggestions to enhance sales processes and marketing effectiveness.
• Engage in ongoing training opportunities.
• Exhibit leadership potential as the business expands.
• Minimum of 2 years of direct life insurance sales experience (inbound or retail preferred).
• Alternatively, 3+ years of experience in inside sales, case design, or as an insurance strategist, with a proven record of achieving sales targets.
• Wholesaling experience is highly advantageous.
• Must possess an active Life & Health Insurance License.
• FINRA Series 6 & 63 is required or the ability to obtain these licenses.
• Strong consultative selling abilities and skills in needs discovery.
• Confident in communication via phone and virtual platforms.
• Capable of handling multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with underwriting processes and case flow management.
• A self-motivated individual with a sense of accountability and a team-oriented mindset.
