Crop Insurance Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Conduct investigations to identify causes and assess the extent of loss, utilizing your independent judgment in claims management.

• Refer any unresolved issues or challenges to the Area Claims Supervisor.

• Interpret and communicate regulations and procedures to claimants, agents, and industry professionals regarding claim matters.

• Clearly articulate our stance on emerging industry issues such as new specialty crops or the expansion of coverage programs.

• Ongoing enhancement of your knowledge regarding RMA rules and regulations, as well as ProAg procedures related to all MPCI, Crop Hail, and Federal Crop Insurance regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school diploma.

• Experience in crop insurance claims or compliance, or any agriculture-related background.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in basic computer and internet applications.

• Effective communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.

• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed.

• Preferred completion of the Claim Adjuster Proficiency Program (CAPP) certification and/or any relevant licenses mandated by state agencies.
