This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +4 more states.
• Interact with incoming clients and financial advisors
• Perform detailed needs assessments to uncover coverage deficiencies and financial objectives
• Suggest and sell life, long-term care, and disability insurance products
• Provide an exceptional, consultative client experience through phone and virtual platforms
• Collaborate with financial advisors and referral partners on client cases
• Clearly articulate product options, strategies, and planning concepts
• Offer guidance on the fundamentals of estate, business, and insurance planning
• Stay informed about term, whole life, UL, VUL, LTC, and DI products
• Educate clients and advisors on the features and advantages of products
• Assist with advanced topics such as coverage design, 1035 exchanges, and needs assessment
• Share ideas to enhance sales processes and marketing effectiveness
• Engage in continuous training
• Minimum of 2 years of direct life insurance sales experience (inbound or retail preferred)
• OR 3+ years in inside sales, case design, or insurance strategy with a proven record of achieving sales targets
• Experience in wholesaling is a significant advantage
• Active Life & Health Insurance License (mandatory)
• FINRA Series 6 & 63 required or the ability to obtain
• Strong consultative selling abilities and skills in needs discovery
• Confident in phone and virtual communication
• Capability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
• Familiarity with underwriting and case flow
• Self-motivated with a sense of accountability and a collaborative mindset
