Instructor – Iraqi

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Provide instruction that aligns with Berlitz teaching methodologies, emphasizing students' goals, needs, and interests.

• Conduct assessments to determine language proficiency levels and analyze student needs.

• Instruct both individual and group students at the Learning Center, at offsite venues, or through virtual platforms.

• Regularly collaborate with the Academic Specialist for feedback on lesson delivery and coaching.

• Complete required training and professional development courses.

• Keep current records of student attendance and pedagogical progress.

• Incorporate educational technology into teaching strategies.

• Maintain shared resources for teaching materials.

• Undertake additional responsibilities assigned by the Service Delivery Manager or Academic Specialist.

• Offer student support that adheres to Berlitz's teaching and customer service standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

• Possess a four-year college or university degree or its equivalent.

• Fluent in the language(s) to be taught.

• Native-level fluency in the required language.

• Outstanding communication abilities in both English and the native language.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Willingness to work flexible hours.

• Capable of taking initiative and working autonomously.

• Availability during daytime hours to instruct virtual students.

• Comfortable working in a multicultural environment.

• Ability to hear and speak, along with the capacity to stand, walk, use hands, reach with arms, and occasionally lift up to 10 pounds.

• Casual employment; candidates with experience are preferred.
