This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee the design, development, and enhancement of courses and learning experiences across online, hybrid, and in-person formats.
• Act as the project manager for course development and revision projects, overseeing timelines, deliverables, communication with stakeholders, and coordination of workflows.
• Collaborate with faculty, subject matter experts, academic leaders, and external partners to ensure course content aligns with learning outcomes, certification requirements, employer expectations, and institutional quality benchmarks.
• Assist in the thoughtful incorporation of Generative AI and emerging technologies into course design, instructional strategies, learning activities, and assessment methods.
• Contribute to the development of instructional strategies and assessments that acknowledge the increasing role of AI tools in academic and professional settings while fostering authentic learning and skill development among students.
• Assess and recommend AI-enhanced learning tools and instructional technologies that enhance student engagement and improve learning outcomes.
• Create and develop interactive instructional materials using learning management systems and digital authoring tools such as Canvas, Articulate Storyline/RISE, Adobe eLearning tools, Camtasia, and other related technologies.
• Remain updated on best practices in instructional design, adult learning theory, educational technologies, industry certifications, and emerging trends in higher education.
• Provide guidance, training, and support to faculty and staff throughout the course development, implementation, and transition processes.
• Analyze course feedback, learner performance data, and quality metrics to facilitate ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Perform additional related tasks as assigned.
• A Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Adult Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field is required.
• At least two years of experience in higher education, preferably supporting online, blended, or adult learning environments.
• A minimum of three years of experience in instructional design or curriculum development.
• Proven success in managing complex instructional projects that involve multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
• Experience in integrating educational technologies into teaching and learning environments.
• Experience in developing curriculum or assessments aligned with certification standards is preferred.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools and their implications for instructional design, assessment, and learner engagement is highly desirable.
