This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and implement captivating instructional training programs, which include facilitator guides, job aids, training manuals, case studies, simulations, on-the-job training resources, and eLearning solutions that support practical application drills, effective knowledge acquisition, and rapid proficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from Clinical, Audit, and Quality teams to gather content, validate its accuracy, challenge assumptions, and convert complex operational processes into effective learner-centered training solutions.
• Oversee content review and approval procedures with SMEs to guarantee that training materials align with current operational workflows, client expectations, compliance standards, and industry regulations.
• Integrate updates from industry organizations and regulatory bodies (such as Coding Clinic, AHIMA, CMS, NCCI, LCD/NCD guidance, and payer-specific requirements) into training content to ensure precision and compliance.
• Utilize contemporary authoring platforms and multimedia resources to create visual, audio, and interactive learning tools that enhance learner engagement and retention.
• Develop evaluation methods, feedback mechanisms, and learner performance indicators to consistently assess training effectiveness and revise content based on learner requirements and business outcomes.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date curriculum documentation, version control, training records, and shared content repositories across learning platforms and internal systems.
• Ensure the instructional integrity, design consistency, and educational effectiveness of all training materials before they are released to operations or learners.
• Stay informed about the latest instructional design best practices, trends in healthcare education, compliance requirements, and emerging learning technologies to continuously enhance training delivery and outcomes.
• At least 3+ years of experience in developing clinical training content, continuing education, or learning solutions for healthcare professionals, including nurses, coders, auditors, and/or physicians.
• Experience in designing content related to healthcare industry topics, with a preference for backgrounds that support auditing, coding, payment integrity, revenue cycle, or clinical operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field is required.
• A portfolio or professional work samples are required during the interview process; samples can be from any industry or topic but must showcase strong instructional design and professional-quality development.
• High proficiency in instructional design authoring tools, including Articulate Storyline, Rise, and other eLearning development platforms.
• Proven ability to identify the most effective learning modalities and design engaging learning experiences, including case studies, simulations, practice exercises, knowledge checks, and other hands-on application activities.
• Strong grasp of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation practices to ensure learning effectiveness and knowledge retention.
• Solid knowledge of clinical terminology, particularly in auditing, coding, and payment integrity environments to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with operational needs.
• Exceptional ability to simplify, organize, and communicate complex concepts in a manner that enhances learner understanding and performance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across diverse, cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
• Keen attention to detail, with the ability to identify gaps, inconsistencies, and opportunities for enhancement within learning materials and training processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to align learning solutions with business needs and operational objectives.
• Outstanding planning, prioritization, and project management skills to handle multiple deliverables and adapt to changing deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Comfortable using technology-based collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and other virtual learning and communication platforms.
• Ability to remain adaptable and effective in an environment where priorities, timelines, and business needs may shift rapidly.
