This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Assist in grading and managing courses for Universal Learner Courses delivered remotely.

• Provide feedback and grading support for in-class activities and assignments.

• Oversee and evaluate learner assignments.

• Support learners in overcoming challenges within the Universal Learner Course.

• Address learner issues through course discussion boards.

• Engage in and monitor discussion activities.

• Conduct live sessions with learners as designated by faculty.

• Take part in initial training and calibration sessions.

• Execute additional tasks assigned by the Learning Enterprise team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with three (3) years of relevant experience in the assigned area/field, or a comparable combination of experience and/or training.

• Must possess eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

• This position does not qualify for Optional Practical Training (OPT) work authorization.

• Completion of mandatory fingerprinting is required.

• Capability to grade in subjects such as Astronomy, Physics, Biology, Environmental Science, Human Health and Culture, Sustainability, Conservation, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Statistics.

• Strong understanding of pertinent course concepts is essential.

• Ability to deliver meaningful feedback and grade assignments promptly.

• Proficient in English language skills.

• Completion of ENG 101, ENG 102, ENG 105, or equivalent coursework is mandatory.

• Familiarity with Canvas or a similar Learning Management System is preferred.

• Knowledge of content and/or coursework in a related field is needed.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight.

• Adaptability to thrive in dynamic or challenging situations.

• Commitment to consistently support students.

• A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.

• Previous teaching experience is advantageous.

• Experience working with high school students is preferred.

• Background as a tutor and/or in student success is desired.
