This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Provide assistance with grading and managing remotely offered Universal Learner Courses.
• Deliver learner evaluations, constructive feedback, and grading support for in-class tasks and assignments.
• Oversee and evaluate assignments.
• Aid learners in overcoming challenges within the Universal Learner Course.
• Address learner issues via course discussion boards.
• Monitor and participate in discussion activities.
• Conduct live sessions for learners when assigned by faculty.
• Engage in initial training and calibration sessions.
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the Learning Enterprise team.
• A Bachelor’s degree with three (3) years of relevant experience in the field, or a combination of equivalent experience and training.
• Familiarity with one or more of the following areas: History, Political Science, Global Studies, Criminal Justice, Social Science, Religious Studies, Social Work, Communications, Education, or English.
• Profound understanding of course concepts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional engagement, team-building, and communication abilities.
• Previous teaching experience is advantageous, particularly with high school students.
• Experience as a tutor and/or in student success initiatives.
• Proficient with Canvas or a similar Learning Management System.
• Capable of working proactively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic or challenging environments.
• Relevant content knowledge and/or coursework in a related discipline.
• Dedication to consistently supporting students.
• Completion of ENG 101, ENG 102, ENG 105, or equivalent courses is required.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• This position does not qualify for Optional Practical Training (OPT).
• Mandatory fingerprinting must be completed.
• The role is based in Arizona; special permission is necessary for out-of-state employment and may not be granted.
• Must be able to perform extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, computer mouse usage, and occasional physical tasks including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 25 pounds.
