This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Kentucky.
• Develop and implement a strategic business plan targeting a broad geographical area to penetrate and build relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders.
• Engage with physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals across various medical subspecialties.
• Conduct visits to physician offices, hospital pharmacies, operating rooms, intensive care units, and other relevant call points.
• Convey clear messages in complex clinical scenarios.
• Participate in periodic field travel with internal teams, including management and marketing.
• Leverage data sources to enhance strategies and efficiencies, capitalizing on high-ROI opportunities.
• Achieve or surpass assigned sales and profit objectives.
• Manage and monitor territory information through a CRM system.
• Travel as required within the territory, including air travel.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Pharmaceutical, Medical Device, or Healthcare Industry sales.
• Capability to work autonomously and manage key account relationships effectively.
• Proven sales growth while overseeing a personal territory.
• Documented history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong business acumen and thorough understanding of complex clinical information.
• Ability to articulate intricate clinical messages to Healthcare Providers in real-time situations.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills, including the ability to present to teams or groups.
• Strong interpersonal and virtual engagement capabilities.
• Proficiency with CRM tools such as Veeva or Salesforce.
• Capability to work independently within a team environment.
• Strong leadership qualities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Successful credentialing with healthcare institutions and third-party credentialing vendors; candidates must maintain necessary credentialing throughout employment.
• Ability to sit for extended periods.
• Ability to stand, walk, sit, talk, and/or hear frequently.
• Ability to occasionally climb stairs and/or use elevators.
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to manipulate a keyboard and operate a telephone and handheld devices.
• Preferred: Experience with Buy and Bill and injectable products.
• Preferred: Experience in Oncology.
• Preferred: Experience in hospital sales/account-based selling and familiarity with P&T/Formulary processes.
• Preferred: Understanding of local/regional health systems.
