This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Carolina.
• Execute installation or service tasks as assigned in a profitable and appropriate manner.
• Document productive time compared to travel time.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks as per the service program tailored for each customer.
• Accurately maintain all work records and parts utilized for each assignment following established procedures.
• Stay informed about all updates/modifications to Stanley equipment and the Ansi156.10 standard as communicated through official channels.
• Keep manuals and all information current as updates are provided.
• Properly maintain company vehicles, tools, and other property.
• Present a neat and clean personal appearance and workmanship, adhering to company policies.
• Ensure an adequate inventory of parts for the service vehicle; maintain an inventory log.
• Test equipment prior to leaving the job site; conduct safety checks.
• Foster strong customer relations and deliver excellent customer service.
• Provide assistance and instruction to others in installation/service techniques.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
• Capable of lifting 75-100 lbs.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to sit while driving for periods of up to 2 hours, though not limited to.
• Capacity to stand on concrete for durations of up to 8 hours, though not limited to.
• Occasional stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling, and spinal twisting is required.
• Vision should not be restricted to near, far, or color perception.
• Willingness to work in varying climatic conditions.
• Flexibility in work schedule is essential, with availability for nights and/or weekends as needed.
• An Associate's Degree in a relevant electrical, mechanical, or industrial field is preferred.
• Previous experience in the construction industry or electrical field is preferred.
• Prior experience with servicing automated doors, glazing, glass installation, door frame installation, building door frames, reading blueprints, and AAADM Certification is preferred.
