Inspector – Asset Management

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +4 more states.

📋 Description

• Perform annual inspections of multifamily, senior housing, and commercial properties in alignment with JLL's best practices and the standards set by Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Correspondent Investors.

• Identify and relay potential risks to the lender while partnering with analysts and asset managers to formulate and oversee mitigation strategies.

• Remain knowledgeable about market trends and local sub-market factors relevant to the properties being inspected.

• Support training initiatives for analysts and asset managers, facilitating their certification as quality inspectors through both onsite and classroom instruction.

• Collaborate seamlessly with Asset Management and Business Enablement teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business, or equivalent relevant experience.

• At least 5 years of pertinent experience conducting a minimum of 100 multifamily property inspections.

• Certification to perform inspections for Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and Life Companies.

• Successful completion of the MBA's Inspection Course.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.

• Exceptional time management capabilities, with the ability to operate under tight deadlines.

• Demonstrated history of excellent communication skills.

• Capability to multitask and manage several transactions concurrently.

• Skills in identifying and evaluating risks.

• Detail-oriented with strong self-auditing skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse teams.

• Strong presentation abilities and a passion for mentoring others.
