Inside Auto Claims Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Investigate straightforward and occasionally moderately complex auto insurance claims

• Manage claims that do not involve representation

• Assess coverage, establish liability, and evaluate damages

• Conduct recorded interviews with claimants, insured individuals, and witnesses

• Negotiate and resolve claims in accordance with established protocols and best practices

• Create clear and concise summaries of claims

• Maintain comprehensive claim files, notes, summaries, and rationale for decisions

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and company policies throughout the claim process

• Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate efficient and customer-oriented claims management

⛳️ Requirements

• Preference given to candidates residing in Eastern zone states (EST)

• Over 2 years of previous experience in claim handling is preferred

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities

• Proven dedication to outstanding customer service

• Capability to juggle multiple tasks and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail

• Solid critical thinking and decision-making capabilities

• Comfortable with technology and adept at learning software and tools related to claims

• This position is unavailable to residents of California, Alaska, Washington, and Hawaii

• Adjuster’s licenses necessary for the role must be acquired within 60 days of hiring and kept current, including ongoing education and state-related renewal requirements

• A dedicated workspace at home, free from distractions, is required

• Minimum internet speeds of 50 MB down/5 MB up are necessary

• An appropriate work surface and seating must be available

• Background check is mandatory

• Allstate typically does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
