Inpatient Facility Medical Coder

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Analyzes medical records to pinpoint relevant diagnoses and procedures

• Guarantees correct DRG assignment

• Leverages Aquity applications for real-time chart coding

• Maintains strong and professional communication abilities

• Engages in assigned educational modules

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of recent experience in inpatient coding

• At least 3 years of experience in an acute care setting

• Possession of CCS, RHIA, or RHIT coding certifications

• Familiarity with ICD-10-CM and CPT coding standards

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
